Even more Sad News

The UK caching community has suffered another great loss today. I'm sorry to say that Bill of Team Ullium has passed away today. My heart and thoughts go out to Angela and family.

Well Nette and I went out to the Anderton Boat Lift to pay the deposit for the combined river/lift trip which is part of G:orgs Cathedral of the Canals-GCT6CC. Whilst we were there, we took a walk over to the Stanley Arms pub to make arrangements for after the boat trip. It looks a really lovely pub.

Funny thing is that as Nette was sat proof reading the cache page for me. I had a email from Des & Bren (Snerdbe) inquiring about the event. Small world.

On the way home from Anderton we stopped off at Chester Services, partly to get a bite to eat. But really to do Motorway Mayhem M56 J14. A nice easy micro, well it was after the sideshow had finished ! While we were waiting a lady who decided a service station car park was a good area to let her dog walk off the lead. This little dog decided he was going into these thick bushes and he wasn't coming out. Well it took her over five minutes to get him out. Once she'd gone it was a quick retrieval and the log was signed.
